staff bios Jonathan R. Traut Owner, Vice President, and Project Manager Jon graduated from Elyria Catholic High School in 1975.  He then attended Ohio State University studying architecture.  Jon realized that his true passion was to be on jobsites, with tools, so he followed in his father's footsteps and entered the carpenter's apprenticeship program, earning his Journeyman Carpenter Classification. Jon's father, Robert Traut, was a project superintendent for the Albert M. Higley Company in Cleveland, Ohio.  That is where Jon began his apprenticeship training.  Jon started with Williams Brothers Builders, Inc. in 1978.  Within two years he was promoted to foreman and in 1985 was promoted again to superintendent and project manager. Currently, Jon is responsible for all day to day field related operations of the firm including human resources, project expeditor, quality control, and overseeing all projects under construction.
